We are proud to host inexpensive schooling show days for both hunters and jumpers. These will be Horse council sanctioned events. Prize money offered for each class/ division via sponsorship and add back percentage from exhibitors.
Kennedy Equestrian Park opens both the Grand Prix and hunter derby grass fields to outside qualified riders, when accompanied by their trainers, for schooling by appointment only. Resident trainer is also available to those riders whose trainers may not be able to attend due to conflict in schedule etc.
Each week a new course is set by resident trainer ensuring distances are correct and all jumps are in compliance to guidelines set by Equine Canada. We use certified safety cups and rails on all our freshly painted jumps. The jumper courses are numbered and flagged. The hunter courses have show quality fill.
The many natural obstacles include a wide variety of banks, 2 open water jumps, a devils dyke or grob, large log and stone walls and an open ditch.
The footing in both rings was designed by Robert Joliceur to provide the optimum comfort and performance for the horses. We are able to utilize the fields from May to October.
